Multistep (3-4 step) synthesis of heterobifunctional light sensitive linkers, investigation of conjugation of suitable bisphosphonate compound to hyaluronic acid through linkers. Optimization of the overall synthesis. Characterization of the compounds by NMR, FT-IR, UV-vis spectroscopy. Preparation of the hydrogels and their characterization by rheology. Preparation of hydrogels films and patterning them through a photomask. Characterization of the pattern by staining with HA binding dyes.
