- Work collaboratively to ensure strategic integration with key internal business unit stakeholders, including Solar Technical Team, Project Management and Construction (PMC), Procurement Team, Grid Export team, Health & Safety team, among others.
- Support the Project Development process (including Acquisitions), including the management and review of the Technical Due Diligence and other internal or external reports.
- Ensure the whole design to be done in the different stages of the project development (ATDD, TDD, RFP, EPC bids, EPC contract) is carried out in accordance with all the applicable norms and regulations, the requirements of the Employer Requirements of the EPC contract as well as all applicable permits, grid connection requirements, grid code compliance and other project-specific requirements.
- Establishing detailed costs note and business plan.
- Responsible for providing all necessary inputs to the Transaction Team, including and not limited to yield, installed capacity, CAPEX, OPEX, etc.
- Writing and reviewing the technical specifications note for sub-contractors’ tenders.
- Challenging the subcontractors and suppliers to obtain the best offer.
- Coordinate with the Grid Export technician, who is the main technical interface with grid operators, to ensure the entire adequacy of the design to the grid connection requirements.
- Work with Procurement Manager on issuing RFPs, reviewing EPC bids and determining contracting strategy.
- Keep abreast of development in the PV solar field.
- Establishing a feasibility study on demand.
- Establishing a diagnostic of the client’s electricity consumption.
